Enactus University of Saskatchewan wins award at National competition

69 Enactus groups from across Canada gathered in Vancouver for Enactus National Exposition. At the Exposition, Enactus University of Saskatchewan was awarded Campus Administration of the Year. This is awarded to one Enactus group to whom the campus administration has shown outstanding support of the team.

“This would not have been possible without the outstanding support from our Board of Directors which includes Tyler Case, our faculty advisor of Enactus University of Saskatchewan.” says Sanderson Evanovich, incoming President of Enactus University of Saskatchewan. “I also want to thank the support of the Edwards School of Business and the University of Saskatchewan in helping us develop projects that support the well being of our province.”

Annually, the Enactus Canada National Exposition brings together student, academic and industry leaders to celebrate the achievements of Canada’s future leaders and entrepreneurs.

During the event, students showcase how their community outreach projects and business ventures are making a real impact in Canada and beyond. Through rounds of live, presentation- based competitions, business leaders, serving as judges, determine which Enactus teams and student entrepreneurs will be named National Champions. The winning team will represent Canada at the upcoming Enactus World Cup held in San Jose, CA in September 2019.

The competitive process, along with additional programming, provides an opportunity for collaboration and best-practice sharing, fosters innovation, encourages results and rewards excellence in entrepreneurial, community leadership.
